There are many delightful villages and towns that are essential to any tour or visit of southern France. Below we outline just some of the attractions in a visit to France.

Vence - Saint Paul

Art, Museums, Churches - no trip to the South of France would be complete without visiting these two 13th Century villages, both of which boast a wealth of art and history for you to explore, comprising the Matisse Chapel and the Foundation Meaght, just to name but a few.

Vence is a very cosmopolitan town - the old village offers a great selection of art galleries and restaurants. The cathedral is the center of the town and the community. There is a Chagall Mosaique in the cathedral that is worth stopping for. The main square is the heart of various happenings, such as the summer’s big music festival: “Les nuits du Sud”. There is a market every Friday and the “ambiance” is very special! Vence is a must to visit.

Saint Paul is probably the most famous village in the world. Its old walls and special beauty attracts thousands of tourists each year. Its narrow streets and art galleries make it a beautiful place to visit. It is the place for the famous people who you might encounter around the streets and also at the Café de la place where the locals play boules. You can even have a aperitif at the world renowned restaurant La Colombe d’or.

Antibes

A full day is recommended to visit this vibrant cosmopolitan town. There are superb safe sandy beaches for the children, many marinas , the castle where Napoleon once lived , the Picasso museum .There is a morning provencal market, renowned for its excellent produce of fruits & vegetables, fish, cheese and flowers. Every Thursday morning there is a large market . A stroll around here is a must for the ladies where you can find many bargains. The whole atmosphere is great! This cosmopolitan town becomes alive by night with its many bars, restaurants and clubs. It is a very popular venue for the young ones.

Nice

Nice is a city of colour, the walls are painted in ocre and brick red and give the city an easy going atmosphere, the green or blue shutters open when the city impatient light enter , the market sunshades of the cours du Saleya in bright orange, green or blue paint a picture.

Its fruits, its olives, its spices, its flowers or its flower battle in winter, the blue of its sky and sea, its roof tiles, so many hues that inspire the well being of its citizens and its relaxed lifetstyle make this the most perfect place to spend a holiday.We can take you to Nice and guide you through the narrow and small streets , stopover in a restaurant with “spécialités Niçoises” and walk along the famous Promenade des Anglais.

Cannes

CannesTo stroll along the famous Croisette or take an aperitif at the Carlton Hotel is a truly wonderful experience. Take a visit to the Palais du festival and marvel at the famous handprints of the actors and actresses. Cannes has a wealth of designer shops. Here you can ski in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon. We accompany you all along the day and after a walk in the center of town we can take you to the Lerins Islands just off the bay of Cannes. It is magnificent and the scenery is fantastic. You can rely on us it is worth it.

Coastal Scenic Tour

Departing from the famous promenade des Anglais, this route along the lower corniche, provides you with the most spectacular views. You will pass by the old port of Nice, this port is surrounded by historic buildings, you will be amazed at the many colorful facades that makes this port so unique. Continuing on route the scenery can only be described as breathtaking, there are many places to park and take photos.

Villefranche

Villefranche in FranceAt Villefranche, so popular with the cruise ships, this deep harbour , surrounded by a palate of colours so typical of, has many attractions to see including a navel museum, a castle, the Jacques Cousteau Chappell plus the delightful village to explore. There are an abundance of restaurants , shops and bars to visit along with a safe sandy beach.

On entering Beaulieu Sur Mer you can immerse yourself in the opulence of this beautiful town, with many marinas, restaurants etc.

Eze village is one the many 13th century perched hill top villages. The views from the top encompasses many beautiful bays and coupled with the back drops of the mountains, it is a definite must to visit.

Les Gorges Du Verdon

To visit the Gorges of the Verdon is to discover one the most astonishing geological upheavals to have occurred in France. The Grand Canyon is unquestionably one of the most impressive sight of that gigantic gash fashioned over a period of many thousands of years by the unleashed forces of alpine alluvia.
Here there are many water related sports; i.e. canoeing, kayaking, free descent, etc. Also this is one of the leading international rock climbing centers. We can take you along the Gorges and stopover for lunch in a restaurant with local specialties. It is outstanding!
